TimeClock Plus to attend NAPEO’s Professional Employer and Marketplace 2012

San Angelo, Tx., Sept 10th, 2012 —For the second year in a row, TimeClock Plus, a nationally recognized time and attendance industry leader, will attend one of the biggest PEO events in the country. The NAPEO Professional Employer and Marketplace 2012 will be held in Scottsdale Arizona October 1st through 3rd of 2012. Wireless Time Clocks – Yep, TimeClock Plus has ‘em

TimeClock Plus clocks have gone wireless…uh with an adapter that is. TimeClock Plus clocks (RDT 100/200 series and GT-400 Hand Scanners) now have the ability to go from a hard line Ethernet connection to a wireless network connection with the addition of an Adapter. “This allows our customers to have their clock device set up and configured at locations that may be difficult or expensive to run an Ethernet connection to,” said Ernie Nabors, VP of Operations. “As long as the wireless RDT [time clock] and the server hosting WinRemote [ TimeClock Plus’ Real-time hardware/software bridge] are connected to the same wireless network, our clients will be able to perform clock operations as if the clock was connected via Ethernet cable.”

WEP, WPA and WPA2 security options are all compatible with the Wireless Adapter. The wireless connection supports 802.11b/n/g which offers speeds up to 300 Mbps and a range of 175 feet. The latest TimeClock Plus Professional Edition, Web Edition and Small Business Editions are recommended with the new wireless offering. TimeClock Plus Mobile GEO Locator

One of the many challenges employers with mobile employee face is how to make sure their employees are clocking in and out when and where they are supposed to. Have you found your company in this predicament?

TimeClock Plus Mobile is an App ( iPhone, Android or Blackberry) that can be downloaded on to your mobile employees smart phone and used with TimeClock Plus Professional Edition, Web Edition or Hybrid Edition. TimeClock Plus Mobile gives your employees the ability to make basic clock in and out functions in a mobile environment and report information in real time. How easy is that? But like we said, it doesn’t eliminate the “Where were you when you clocked in?” issue. But hold the phone, (nifty little pun, huh?) the newly added GEO Locator does.

The GEO module records the location of a clock operation performed in the TimeClock Plus mobile application from a GPS enabled phone. The system then feeds those coordinates to a map in the Edit Hours portion of TimeClock Manager. A time in location is represented by a green marker and the time out location is represented by a red marker.

TimeClock Plus Modules make it easy to track Multiple TimeZones

Does your company have multiple locations? To make matters worse, are those locations in multiple time zones? Never fear, TimeClock Plus can help.
When used with TimeClock Plus Professional and/or Web Edition, The Multi Company Module allows you to create more than one company within one version of TimeClock Plus. Sure, it sounds a little crazy but it’s true. When you set up a new company in TimeClock Plus, each company’s data will be independent of the data in other companies. If one location has a Monday – Sunday work week, no problem, use the Multi Company Module and the information will behave as if that location has their own version. It’s genius.

 

But what if your company not only has multiple locations, they also span multiple time zone? Again, the TimeClock Plus team has it figured out. Let’s say a company is hosting their TimeClock Plus database in Texas, but has offices in New York, Washington, and Japan. Without this module, the time for each office would be adjusted to the database server’s time zone (Central). But with the Multi Time Zone Module, each office’s On-Screen TimeClock could be configured for the correct time zone or in Web Edition 3.0 each employee could be configured with the appropriate time zone. Now that’s easy.
